A network of organizations and individuals connecting people and ideas for action to build local economies that strengthen communities. Our Manitoba region is strong and active with members working across the Province on initiatives including community revitalization, workforce development, newcomer settlement, Indigenous leadership, environmental sustainability & green economy development, developing childcare and housing and social inclusion for people facing marginalization. Network activities include advocacy for public policy change on a wide variety of topics as directed by members, representing the network to external stakeholders to build awareness and new connections, as well as building the capacity of community organizations and social enterprises to achieve healthy, equitable, and sustainable communities.
