Wow, what a week! What an absolutely fantastic way to end my time with the National Young Leaders Committee . Not only did we have a NextGen for the history books, but I also had the privilege to be a panelist on the mainstage in our 20th Anniversary panel. I am so honoured that I could share my thoughts around leadership and mentorship. I am so grateful to have been able to highlight, amplify and serve the system’s youth for the past three years as a member of the NYLC. Not only have I made lifelong friendships, but I’ve built a network of peers across the country that I know I will connect with for years to come. I’m especially grateful to my 2021 Award Winner Cohort: Amanda Wantke, MBA, CCMP , Robert Unruh, MBA, FCUIC , Sarah Taylor and Jordan McFarlen . I couldn’t have asked for a better crew for this crazy ride. Thank you so much to the Canadian Credit Union Association for all of the opportunities and personal development for the past three years, and especially to Mirren Harris, M. Ed.
