Volunteer Manitoba promotes volunteerism across Manitoba. We achieve this by supporting individuals and groups as they develop and enhance their capacity to meet community needs in the province. Over the years, Volunteer Manitoba has developed and improved on FOUR key service areas: Training – We have organized our workshop training into 3 signature series: Organizational Development, Volunteer Management and Board Development & Leadership. These workshops and events are held throughout the year, and are delivered in Winnipeg and in rural communities across Manitoba. 211 Manitoba-211 Manitoba is a searchable online database of government, health, and social services that are available across the province. The service helps Manitobans who are looking to find the right community or social resource but don’t know where to start. 211 Manitoba also makes it easy for service providers and first responders to direct others to the right resource. Referral & Outreach Service – Through our website, and by meeting with you in person, we provide a match for individuals who have an interest in volunteering with agencies who are seeking volunteers. Volunteer Awards Dinner - Every year, Volunteer Manitoba hosts an awards dinner to recognize the contributions that individuals and groups have made to their communities.
